True with Erica, I went to visit the Witch Museum in Salem, Masschusettes and the gift shop in there has so many tarots cards and books. Even other stuff liked a ouiji deck/board, palm reading guide and all that magical stuffs.

I live in MA... so Salem has all that stuff.. but i know that doesnt any. If you still cant find them in any of the stores, try checking out a store online... if you can make purchases over the computer!

My friend Pat got his cards and book at Chapters. I believe he got the Rider deck as well and he likes it, but I'm not sure what book he has though.

Like the other two ppl said, try bookstores! Borders, Waldenbooks, Hastings, Barnes & Noble... They usually have a section called "New Age" or something along those lines with a few tarot cards. My first deck was from a Texas Renaissance Festival booth. Get the Robin Wood deck! It's based on the Rider-Waite deck, but it's drawn prettier and with a lot more detail and effort. It also comes with an instruction book that tells you all you need to know!

You can usually find tarot cards in bookstores...i bought mine at borders. The rider tarot deck is the most widely used i've noticed but it's also expensive. I have "the universal tarot deck". My mom got them for me and we're not exactly the richest people in the world. Most tarot decks come with instructions on how to use them, so you can learn from there. You could also look for a deck at any type of new-agey store. As to the necklace/jewelry thing, do you have a claire's in your area? They have a ton of those types of things. Wet seal also has shirts with astrology signs on them. Good Luck! Tarot cards rock!
