Getting into it

I am really starting to understand astrology now. Before, I used to read the characteristics for each star sign, and see if it matched anyone I knew who had that very zodiac sign. Usually, a lot would be true, but now always. Despite that, I've always believed that astrology is a real thing, since it's so ancient, and because it can be true. I knew that it was a lot more complicated than that every star sign had its own characteristics that the people born under that sign also had… but I thought it was too difficult, so I didn't really start studying it. But then, I bought this neat little book, that explained everything very easily, and then everything made sense. The book doesn't actually say everything there is to know about astrology, but it gives you a good introduction, which makes it easier to understand if you want to get really into it.
Well, the thing is, sometime the characteristics for your zodiac sign, won't match because you were very much influenced by other planets during your birth. The characteristics that are mentioned different places is just in which star sign the sun was in when you (and everyone else born it that sign were), were born. But there are many other planets in addition to the sun that you have to find out which position they had (in which star sign they were). The only way you can do this is to find out exactly when and where you were born (because this is individual to everyone, and the reason for two persons born in the same star sign can be totally different), but I'm not sure how you come up with the result. You can buy a book, but there are also sites on the internet which can help you (like astrlogy.com) out. You then have to study the different planets and which emotion and ability they control and see which star sign they control in you, and then what kind of emotions and abilities that star sign has…

I'm not an expert on this, because I'm only starting to learn myself, but at least I hope I helped a bit. If you're fascinated by astrology, I warmly advice you to get an easy-read, and an informative book.
