Martial Arts is Great

Martial Arts is great. I think there should be a board for martial arts. I do Tae Kwon Do and I love it. People sometimes mock martial arts, but I hate football (soccer if you say it in your country). All you do is kick a ball around and argue about teams with your best mate. The goal is to get a crappy ball into a net. That's why I like rugby better. It is a man sport played by goons and watched by gentlemen. That is the same for football, they are both goons. But long story short, martial arts is a outlet on anger. Geeks can do it and learn how to break a bully's arm. You can have power, build your muscles, and let out your anger. Most people will not agree that there should be a page for martial arts but I do. Please reply! Yours faithfully and lovingly, Matthew

I agree that there should be a martial arts board but I don't agree with some of the other things you've said. The martial arts are not just for someone to learn how to break someone else's arm, as you put it. Quite the opposite. They are for exercising the mind, body, and spirit and learning disipline, honor, and grace. The martial arts are for self-defense and self-betterment, not senseless violence. And why the heck did you start a topic on martial arts then spend almost all your time disrepecting football/futball/soccer?

OOOO. U can NOT hate futbol. thats just not human. I like martial arts, absolutely, but soccer and God are my LIFE. actually, i still remember how to do the first form u learn as a white and yellow belt. i used to take karate, but me mum took me out of it for some reason known only to herself. mums can be wierd at times. y do u hate futbol? its the best sport on the planet, and even if ur not good enough to desire to play on a team, u can still kick it against a wall somewhere if ur bored or in a hissie. bollocks to u!! buh byes.
